On this episode of Under the Hat, we are joined by Andy Osborn who is discussing the critical topic of aligning PD to the reality of the fast pace of the AI advancements. Andy is in his 8th year as an EdTech Instructional Coach/TOSA and 25th year in education. Over the years he has filled many roles but currently the President of the Orange County CUE Affiliate.

Andy has been an educator for twenty-three years. In that time he has taught elementary grades 3-6, middle school English and Journalism, led as an administrative intern, and supported students, teachers and administrators as a Technology TOSA for the past seven years. His well-rounded experience has made him an advocate for English Language Learners and underprivileged students. He has fought to promote equity for all and break down barriers to learning with tech his whole career. Andy has earned a Bachelors in English, a Masters in Educational Administration, and three credentials Multi-Subject, Single Subject in English, and Administration. Mr. Osborn is a lifelong learner. He has earned the Common Sense Educator and Apple Teacher certifications, is a Nearpod Coach, Global Instructure Advocate and a member of the California Math Project, Fullerton. He has been awarded the Optimist International award, and the Teacher of the Year award at Arthur F. Corey School. He was elected to the OCCUE Board in 2022, and was the OCCUE Technology Innovator of the Year for 2023. He is currently the OCCUE Co-President, and the creator and host of the "Building CUEmmunity with OCCUE" podcast
