Renee is in her third year as an Instructional Technology Specialist after teaching special education in a variety of grade levels and settings for 15 years.
Renee is passionate about gamifying and personalizing student learning and professional development.
She has currently discovered that implementing esports for students during the school day is resulting in a remarkable decrease in student suspensions and a significant increase in student attendance.
Renee is a self-guided learner, who enjoys earning badges and certifications in her free time to stay up to date with the latest technology tools.
Renee resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her partner, Will, and Pitbull, LuLu.
